The Visitors Center at Flaming Gorge
Our Last Visit to the FG Visitors Center this Year
Views from the Visitors Center
Today is our last visit to the Flaming Gorge visitors center
.I just wanted to take the last few pictures and see the view. I have included photos of the scenery and one of the bighorn sheep who gather nearby. I love watching them run around looking at the visitors as long as they don't get too close.
The outside visitors center area is going under some renovations. The signs don't say how long it will be out of public view. I'm glad we visited before they shut it down; it's worth the walk on the path. I think they are replacing some of the guard rails, and we don't want people falling over the edge of the canyon, now do we?
Today I thought you all might like looking over the edge with me, so I posted the views of the canyon over the edge. It's 100's of times better in the real world. Planning a visit here could highlight your summer or summer vacation (and it's about 20 degrees cooler than the valley).
Note: We will never forget 9-11. We honor those who died and the first responders.
See you next time!
